I can't believe it is already the middle of March! We celebrated Byron's second birthday on the 6th. We went to the Cock O the Walk to eat fish, and afterward Byron did his favorite thing in all the world. He fed the ducks on the shores of the Ross Barnett Reservoir. He wasn't excited about eating, the wait staff singing, or the cake, but he did love throwing crumps to the ducks. All his life he has had a fasination with two things, first of all any kind of ball, and secondly ducks. He is our only boy, and is certainly different from the girls. We get to keep him occasionally when Jill is in a dinner meeting, and Randy is working late. It tires us out but we love spending time with him.
Our next birthday is Abby's first. She will be one May 4th, and is already walking. She is a very happy little girl who keeps her Mommy & Daddy on their toes. She is very healthly, and very bright. We don't get to see her much, but Chrissy is wonderful at sending up-dates, and pictures via the internet.
Gary and I are looking forward to celebrating our 45 wedding anniversary next month on the 4th of April. We would like to do something exciting like take a weekend trip just for the two of us, but we may just stay in town and enjoy the day. Don't know yet, but for sure it will be an important event in our lives to realize that we have been "as one" for such a long time, and I know Gary feels as I do that we can hardly remember when we were not married.
