Byron and Abby had a great time playing together on Father's Day. The year's difference in their age won't even matter eventually. Gary and I loved watching them playing and laughing, and running around the house. On Saturday morning Abby went swimming with her Mom and Dad. We just watched with camera in hand. It was so hot that day that they had the pool all to themselves.
I also got a rare shot of Gary and Eric playing the guitar. Eric said he was just pretending but with those long fingers, and appreciation for music he could one day play like his dad.

It was a very good day with only one exception, and that was the absence of our Julie Anne. She came home that evening at eight from an extended vacation with her father's family. This weary little traveler has been to New York City, back to New Orleans and then back to Picayune. She had a good time, and is in anticipation of her upcoming trip to Disney World in Orlando. While we are glad she has an opportunity for these experiences we are also cautiously apprehensive for her safety. We do all we can which is pray constantly for her until she comes back home each time.
