Thanksgiving was wonderful at Eric's house. Gary and I took Julie with us on Wednesday evening and Jill, Randy, and Byron came on Thursday in time for a huge Turkey & Ham dinner cooked by Chrissy and her mother, Donna. Donna and Chrissy's dad, Dan also came on Wednesday evening and stayed the night so Donna could be there and in the kitchen early next morning. Later that morning John and Lee, Chrissy's brothers also came.
Chrissy did a great job blending the two families into one big family. It was Abby's first Thanksgiving and the first Thanksgiving in their new house. We had great fellowship with all. Jill & family left to go to Randy's grandmother's early in the afternoon, and we continued the fun by having a bon fire where we roasted marshmellows and made spores. The weather was good for this activity since it was not too cold. We stayed after everyone else left, and had a good visit with our little granddaughter, who is growing up so fast. She is waving "hello", and babbling words, and smiles at everyone. She laughs out loud, and lets Grammie rock her to sleep.
On Sunday after lunch we came home, and was of course tired, but it was a good tired. We both were able to go to work on Monday morning, and began to think about Christmas, which will be our next visit with our Wonderful Children and Grandchildren.
